What is Bioneers?What is Bioneers?

Bioneers is a national nonprofit organization that for 20 years has been "inspiring a shift to live on Earth in ways that honor the web of life, each other and future generations." Through its annual conference, Bioneers presents solutions and a vision of positive change. The annual conference takes place in San Rafael, California and brings together a wide collection of speakers and presenters on the topics of environmental issues. Imago is excited to bring Bioneers to Cincinnati for the first time and join 18 other sites around the country presenting this national event.

There is a movement underfoot, and Cincinnati is on the forefront. Though it may not be widely known Cincinnati is a regional leader in sustainable innovation. Join us as we learn about all of the amazingly green things going on in our region and be a part of the solution as we work together to create a Green Cincinnati!

Each day our conference will feature three main components:

  • Morning breakout sessions and field trips featuring our local innovators. A great way to learn from the people in the front lines of the environmental movement
  • Afternoon plenary presentations of national and global experts. These presentations will be presented live to our audience via satellite from the Bioneers Conference in California.
  • Evening keynote presentations and celebrations. On Friday Cincinnati Zoo, executive Director Thayne Maynard, on Saturday globally renown filmmaker Andrea Torrice, and on Sunday a post conference celebration at Imago with roots music by Dinah Devoto and Pat Kennedy.
