There is work to be done...
The task of seeing a green future, where every person, family and community can live sustainably - that’s the task at hand. It is Imago’s grand vision and a giant job, but we are lucky to be doing such worthy and amazing work. At Imago we pull on that rope with every person who grows at a workshop, every child that spends hours with us exploring the forest, every volunteer who gives of her time and energy, every exciting collaboration, every acre of urban forest that is protected and there to be cherished, and of course every generous donor who contributes.

Each year Imago continues to do amazing work, and why not? We don’t mind the work when we see the fruits of our labors. There is real progress and progress means hope and excitement. The work is not always easy but it is always fulfilling. We are making a difference and I am personally inviting you to join me in being a part of that difference.  

Your generosity can have an enormous impact on an organization that runs so efficiently, a donation is a florescence of protected land, children in the woods, thought-provoking programs. As a nonprofit that receives the vast majority of its income from its donors, we need you to continue doing this Great Work. This work is fun, its fulfilling and its making a difference and now you have an opportunity to pull on that rope with us.

Accomplishments of 2011

• Served thousands of urban schoolchildren through our environmental education programs for schools and scouts
• Managed 36 acres of urban forest, 16 of which is open to the public for personal exploration and hiking - free of charge
• Provided weeks of summer and winter break camps - a wonderful experience for youth to connect to nature
• Completed a Master Site Plan - a detailed plan to make our building and preserve more visitor friendly and more ecologically friendly
• Presented a fun calendar of great public programs from the Animal Blessing to Ecology on Tap

• for $50 you can provide scholarship to come to one day of Adventure Camp
• for $100 you can support one months worth of Public Programs and Workshops
• for $150 you can support a school class coming to an Imago program
• for $200 you can support the care and restoration of Imago's 36 acres for one month
• for $250 you can support camp for one week for one child
