What Does God Look Like in an Expanding Universe? editor Jim Schenk speaks about the significance of this new book, published by Imago Publishing:

Some years ago in my own search to understand God, life, and death in a new way I began thinking about a book. This book would provide people a forum for talking about their views on these age-old issues in a new cosmology that includes a love for the Earth. I began looking for articles and excerpts from magazines and books that talked about these ideas. This search turned in to a request for articles of 50 to 1000 words from people I respected and personally wanted to hear their thoughts about these issues. I invited theologians, scientists, artists, poets, and thinkers of all walks of life to share their thoughts on “Where Did We Come From”, “Why Are We Here”, and “What Happens After Death” based on the new cosmology. And people came through!

If you are amazed by the present understandings of the Universe, (12 billion light years across, billions of galaxies each with billions of stars, with its quantum theories and string theories) you may find what the authors in this book have to say is amazing as well. This is a thought-provoking book, of mostly original works, with new images and thoughts about these age-old questions.

Imago named CityBeat's 2006 Best Inner-City Green
Once again, Imago was included in CityBeat's biggest issue of the year, the 2006 Best of Cincinnati! CityBeat calls this issue "a celebration of what makes Cincinnati a great city: the people, the nightlife, the arts, the media, the sports, the businesses and the weirdness that makes us unique." This year, Imago was one of the Staff Picks included in the issue. We will be proudly wearing this title for the next year while continuing to--as City Beat says--"talk the talk and walk the walk--among the trees, of course."
