Chris
Clements - Executive Director
Chris came to Imago in 1999 from Pennsylvania and parts beyond. He
has had a long interest in the environment and youth. Chris has worked
at environmental education facilities in Colorado, Central Ohio, and
Philadelphia. He is excited about the Earth Center's potential and
is proud of its accomplishments. When he isn't at the Earth Center,
Chris likes to explore natural areas and play ultimate Frisbee. |

Kate Haneberg - Volunteer Coordintor
Moving to Enright Avenue six months ago gave Kate Haneberg another title aside from first-time homeowner, she is also the new Volunteer Coordinator for the Eco-Village. Kate and her family moved to the street seeking a place to put down roots and participate in a wonderful community. She is in her final year at Union Institute, Vermont College, studying Human Ecology and Education, which will lead to her life work involving guiding youth toward a healthy relationship with the natural world through wilderness awareness. |

Breanna Harris - Communications Coordinator/Imago
Breanna recently relocated to Cincinnati in the spring of 2006 from St. Petersburg, Florida. She is now working at Imago as an Americorps volunteer with the Notre Dame Mission Volunteers. She received an AS in Graphic Design in 2002 from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, Florida. Originally from Oregon, she enjoys the mountains, snow boarding, hiking and simply being outside.

Amanda Johnson - Communications Coordinator/Eco-Village
Although she is a Cincinnati native, Imago’s new Americorps VISTA, Amanda Johnson, just recently moved back to her hometown from Portland, Oregon. Amanda has a BA from Antioch College in Communications and Photography, and has experience working with design, event planning and fundraising in a nonprofit environment. She is excited to integrate and expand her interest in the “green” movement, deep ecology, and sustainability into her work with the Enright Ridge Eco-Village. In her free time, she enjoys playing chess, reading piles of Orion and Sun Magazines, finding gems at flea markets, talking about politics, exploring new places and camping. |

Taylor Kornman - Fall Intern
Taylor is from Wilmington Ohio and a recent graduate from Wittenberg University where she studied Political Science and Literature. She is excited to be with Imago as an environmental education intern through the end of this year. She looks forward to beginning her service with the Peace Corps in Madagascar early next year. Taylor enjoys volunteering, horseback riding in her spare time and is currently working on her certification of master organic gardener.

Louise Lawarre - Earth & Spirit Coordinator
Louise earned an MA in Culture and Spirituality from the Sophia Center in Oakland, CA. As Earth and Spirit Coordinator, she gets to be part of wonderful discussions, programs, conferences and rituals that explore the essential cultural transformation of our time - learning to live in harmony within the Sacred Earth Community. Learning to identify more and more birds by sight and call is one of her favorite outdoor activities. |

Shea Norris - Education Coordinator
Shea graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in the spring of 2006 with a bachelor degree in Psychology and Art. She recently relocated to Cincinnati in the fall of 2006. She is currently serving as an Americorps volunteer through the Notre Dame Missions Volunteers and teaches an art class for homeschool jr. high students. Shea enjoys riding her bike, art of all kinds, dancing around, and just being outside.

Charlotte Ruddy - Fall Intern
Charlotte just returned from Syracuse University where she studied Sociology and Photography. She is a native of Cincinnati, yet feels she has just begun her proactive engagements in her own community!! Prior to her return she was involved with an AIDS wellness center and inner city 'kids and photography' program. This journey has led her on a path of discovery and understanding concerning people's disconnect with nature and the affects on thier overall peace of mind and happiness. These days she's excited about being a part of peoples personal reconnect with mother earth. She is also interested in cooking, creation through recycled materials, bicylcing, and learning new languages (spanish and speaking with nature). |

Scott
Schaffer - Properties Manager
After living most of his life in the Upstate Region of Rochester, N.Y., Scott--for the second time--made Cincinnati his home and then joined the Americorps VISTA program in July of 2006. He has an A.A.S. Degree in Natural Resource Conservation (with a concentration in Law Enforcement), graduating in 1986 from the Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua, N.Y.. Scott lived for a year in the Amazon Rainforests of Peru, working on the Yarapa River Wildlife Preserve, rehabbing and returning captured animals from the pet trade to the wild. He enjoys role-playing games, cards and computer games, as well as reading, writing, painting and just plain watching TV. |

Eileen
Schenk- Fundraising
Eileen co-founded Imago in 1978 and has assumed various roles over
the years, including educational workshop coordinator and organizer
and director of the Seminary Square Eco-Village and Price Hill Will
Community Development Projects. Eileen took the lead in acquiring
the initial 8 acres of the Earth Center property and conceived the
childrens environmental education program. She is also a professional
social worker, family therapist, and is actively involved in planting
an urban tree canopy.

Jim
Schenk- Eco-Village Director
Jim co-founded Imago. He served as its director for 27 years until
September 2005. He is heavily involved in the Earth and Spirit Component
of Imago, including the
EarthSpirit Rising Conference, workshops and Conversations.
He also works with the Enright Ridge Eco-village project. In his
spare time Jim is editing a book entitled What Does God Look
Like in an Expanding Universe, that examines new images of Where
We Come From, Why Are We Here, and What Happens After Death, images
that do not do harm to Earth. It also examines how seeing ourselves
as a species of this magnificent planet is critical to solving our
current woes. |
