Saving the Earth One Meal at a Time

Intro to series

We believe that education on the timely issue of food will cause real and lasting change in our community. As our understanding grows of the present environmental crisis, compounded by the global economic situation, our society is beginning to feel the need to reconnect with the land and the community. These programs will grant participants the tools they need to navigate these lifestyle changes. More than an overview, programs are designed to address the practical issues of finding and preparing food in healthful, budget sensitive and earth friendly ways. We hope to demonstrate that local and organic food is not relegated to the wealthy, but accessible to all.
